"We would relive this day over and over again if we could." -Rehemah

On the 25th of August 2019 Black Love Page celebrated with Rehemah and Jeff Antwi in front of friends and family as they tied the knot. This was more than just a beautiful wedding in Malaga, Spain. The London based couple made sure that this was an epic weekend for everyone who traveled near and far to celebrate with them. People flew in from London, Dubai, Ghana, Uganda, United States, and so much more!

Their wedding was a four day celebration.

August 23rd 2019 Day One: Welcome Drinks for everyone who flew into Malaga, Spain to connect. This was a very fun turn up "Meet and Greet"

August 24th 2019 Day Two: A free day for friends and family to explore the city.

August 25th 2019 Day Three: Wedding Day and Partied the night away until 5am!

Yep, you read that right. The party was nonstop.

August 26th 2019 Day Four: Pool Party/BBQ where the couple rented a huge mansion where they allowed friends and family to mingle and once again celebrate their union.

BLP: How did you guys go about making your selection for the wedding venue?

Rehemah: As soon as we got engaged, we knew we wanted a destination wedding. London is not very reliable with weather and I have always wanted an outdoor ceremony and reception. Our first choice was Palma, Spain as this was our first vacation together as a couple. However, I was set on a date just 9 months after our engagement and all the venues we were interested in were booked up. We continued to look around other European countries ( This costed a lot of money on flights and hotels lol) until we came back to Spain and found Finca La Tos It was perfect and had everything we wanted!

BLP: How was it maintaining your budget? Were you guys firm with your budget?

Rehemah: When we initially started planning, we were set in sticking to our budget. This soon went out the window after spending too much time on Pinterest. I’m a bit embarrassed to say we almost doubled our initial budget.

BLP: Who were your wedding vendors? Venue: Finca La Tosca Photographers: @Malachishoots and @Amandawattr Videographer: @pauproductions On the day coordinator: @malagaweddings Groom’s suit @madewesternbespoke Groom’s traditional outfit: @officialnicholaskingsley Bride’s dress: @ThingsIAdore_bridal Bride’s traditional dress: @karentinobridal Make up: @nikitabaffour Bride Hair: @jupiter_styles

BLP: How did you guys go about making the guest list?

Did that work out smoothly? Rehemah: Formulating the guest-list was a tricky task. Not only does Jeff know everyone in London (Another reason we had a destination wedding as we would likely have around 800 guests if we had our wedding in London), our parents wanted to invite the whole world too. In the end we settled on 150 of our nearest and dearest. Two month one and we both still have people messaging us upset that they were not invited.

BLP: Words or advice for future Brides?

Rehemah: Let those close to you help with planning. If you're a bit of a control freak like myself then you'll end up doing the tasks you'd delegated to others but try not to. Try not to stress and enjoy the process. Once it’s over you’ll miss all the planning Have some sort of project/hobby lined up for after the wedding. Wedding planning blues are real, and you’ll suddenly not know what to do with all your free time
