Every now and then we meet a couple that truly exude everything that is Black Love!
On September 20th, 2019 Black Love Page helped to share this beautiful union. We introduce to you Fleur and Tyrue Williams!
"I wouldn’t change anything about our wedding. It was perfect and a true reflection of who we are. We are feeling blessed." -@Fleur
BLP: Where was your wedding located? Westbury Manor - Westbury, NY. Tyrue and I selected Westbury Manor because it gave us a vintage vibe. Which was the goal of the wedding. We wanted a vintage glamour wedding and the venue just spoke to us. It was a bonus with Westbury Manor only hosting one wedding at a time.
BLP: How was it maintaining your wedding budget? It wasn't always easy and we did go over, but we went over in areas where it made sense. I knew this was a once in a lifetime deal and something I dreamt about for so long, so making sure it was what I want was key. Even if it meant going over. My Designer & Planner, Kisha Barner from K. Barner Events, was extremely helpful in providing insight on the areas it made sense to go over and the areas it did not make sense. She gave great advice which paid off in the end and resulted in a gorgeous wedding beyond our dreams.

BLP: How did you guys go about making the wedding's guest list? The guest list was the hardest part for us. How do we invite just enough to end up with 192 people or less?! We had to downscale a bit and that was tough. We started with family first, then close friends. We wanted to be surrounded by love and genuine people. That’s exactly what we got and it ended up working out. The people who were suppose to be there were there. And we had an amazing night.
BLP: Any other details that you would like to share? or advice for future brides? Word of advice is get yourself a Wedding Planner. Kisha from K. Barner Events provided a stress-free and efficient planning and design process. On our wedding day, Kisha along with her team, made our day seamless. I am usually a control freak when it comes to planning, but Kisha and the KBE team made it so easy to trust them. Tyrue and I were able to relax and live in the moment. I had no worries my entire wedding day, just joy in my heart. It was such a smart investment! Another piece of advice I would like to share is cater your wedding to you and your partner. No two weddings are alike and your day should reflect your partner and you. Live in the moment, and enjoy yourself.
BLP: Lastly, How do you guys feel now that the wedding is over? Now the wedding is over, we are relaxing. We are still overjoyed and reliving the wedding by watching videos and looking through pictures. For myself, I wouldn’t have changed anything about our wedding. It was perfect and a true reflection of who we are. We are feeling blessed and look forward to going on our honeymoon in December.
